Biography

Born and raised in Montreal, Canada, Gabriel Gluck, MD attended McGill University in Montreal for both undergraduate and medical school. He went on to complete his internship and residency in orthopaedic surgery at Montreal General Hospital.

Upon completion of his residency in 1977, Dr. Gluck started a private orthopedic practice in Manassas, Virgina where he specialized in general orthopedics and wound care. In 1979, he became board certified in general orthopaedics by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. Dr. Gluck is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada and the Virginia Orthopaedic Society.

After 33 years at his private practice in Virginia, Dr. Gluck “retired” and moved to Ventura in 2020 where he started working for UrgentOrtho in the evenings at the Ventura location. He and his wife Irene, a nurse, have two children; a daughter, Sarah, who is a teacher for Ventura Unified School District, and a son, Josh, who is an orthopedic hand specialist at Ventura Orthopedics. In his free time, Dr. Gluck enjoys the outdoors, traveling and cooking.
