Biography
Nicholas earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Theology from LIFE Pacific University in San Dimas, Calif. and went on to complete an Associate’s Degree in Respiratory Care from Excelsior College in Albany, NY. Most recently, he graduated from Loma Linda University with a Master of Physician Science and is a member of the National Committee on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
Nicholas desires to serve his community one individual at a time through the practice of medicine and promotion of health. He believes that caring for the individual does not stop with the work done in the clinic or hospital, but in taking every opportunity to give back to his community. Nicholas enjoys connecting with each patient and making the medical experience as easy and pleasant as possible. It is his passion to make the community a healthier and happier place.
Prior to joining Ventura Orthopedics in 2018, Nicholas worked as a respiratory therapist at St. John’s Regional Medical Center in Oxnard for eight years, focusing on chronic and acute patients in the ER and ICU. He also coached girls basketball at Moorpark High School for four years and worked on staff at a local church for 14 years.
Nicholas and his wife live in Moorpark with their three amazing children. They also have two wonderful adopted daughters who attend Florida A&M and San Diego State where they play volleyball and soccer, respectively. In his free time, Nicholas loves playing and coaching sports, especially basketball, helping others discover their greatness and going on hikes with his family.
